Binh Ba, South Vietnam, 1962-1972. Aerial view of the grass airstrip known as "Binh Ba 2" in the French rubber plantation. Like most French airstrips dating back to the colonial period it was aligned roughly South West to North East to take advantage of the prevailing winds.
